  Lastly, an update on my progress:
  
  1. Took a prospect from my list to lunch on Friday and she has commited to funding a deal in the 60-80,000 range (that range strategy workd really well!) She has a lot of other funds parked in other areas so there is an opportunity for even more funding.
  
  2. I have two appointments scheduled after the New Years
  
  3. I just got my first internet lead as well. Can't wait to see the website you guys have for us
  
  4. I'm making my schedule of all Southern California investemnt clubs and IRA custodians
  
  5. I'm also networking with my real estate agent friends to contact escrow/title companies for potential private lenders.
  
  6. I'll be heading out to our county registrars on Friday to check out the notes backed by individuals versus lending institutions.

  Sorry I haven't replied but betwen the 9-5 and the real estate gig i've been getting about 4-5 hrs of sleep the last 6 weeks or so.
  
  I primarily wanted to tell you guys that i had lunch with and got another $60.000 commitment. I'm two for three so far on my original list of people to contact that I have had the opportunity to present to so my total money commitment is about 120-140,000...definately making strides on my $600,000 goal by June
  
  What days/times do you have to go over the webinar? I will double check my host tonight and get you the info.
  
  I am hoping to schedule my 4th appointment this week....all my contacts requested that I contact them after Xmas/New Years so that time is here!
  
  I cannot tell you guys how your coaching has made such a difference in my approach to getting money. It reminds me of Jim Rhon's advice that "you will get what you want if you help others get what they want."

• "Hello Trevor. Thank you for the example. I have been talking to Patrick lately since I'm thinking about getting a mentor. Anyhow, I recently got one of my offers accepted at 50% of the FMV. The closing will be next week 4/10/09. Two of my Private investors will be putting up the cash. I'm already excited. Patrick instructed me to just talk to the Title company for now to draft the Promissory note and deed of trust.
  
  Regarding my Private investors, one of them was my Stager for my house before. The 2nd one, I listed her house for lease before. The third one is a friend of my babysitter.
  
  Hopefully, if I can do good on this first deal, my other private investors will refer me other people. I need more investors because there are a lot of deals out there.
